What´s in the box

Box contains approx. 600g of frozen corn ribs (about 10–12 pieces) with chimichurri seasoning. To bake yourself. Great as an apéro snack or side dish for about four people.

Cooking instructions
  1. Add the chimichurri spice mix to a mixing bowl. Fill the empty spice jar ¾ full with vegetable oil and mix with the spices. Toss the frozen corn ribs in the oil mixture.
  2. Cooking options:
  • Option 1 – Oven: Place corn ribs on a baking tray lined with parchment paper in a single layer. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 12–20 minutes until golden. Flip halfway.
  • Option 2 – BBQ: Grill on medium heat until cooked through and golden brown.
  • Option 3 – Air fryer: Cook for 10–14 minutes at 200°C (preheated), shaking halfway through.

Corn; chimichurri spice mix (salt, paprika, tomato flakes (tomato, starch), cane sugar, garlic, red peppers, onions, pilipili, cumin, flavouring, thyme, oregano, corn oil, parsley, paprika flavouring, smoked maltodextrin).

Corn ribs: even Ottolenghi’s a fan. And honestly, it’s easy to see why. Juicy, sweet corn cobs are quartered lengthwise—making them easier (and more fun) to eat, while also letting the marinade soak deep between those golden kernels for a full-flavour experience.

Our version is tossed in a zingy, South American-style chimichurri seasoning. It’s spicy, herby, citrusy, and utterly addictive. These ribs crisp up beautifully whether baked, pan-fried or grilled on the BBQ.

Perfect as a snack with drinks or a bright side dish for any summer meal. Colourful, tasty, and guaranteed to steal the show.

🌶️ Pimping tips
  • Serve with some lime wedges or a simple yoghurt dip or guacamole.
  • Sprinkle some coarsely chopped, fresh green herbs (coriander, chives, parsley...) and/or finely sliced spring onions over your corn ribs before serving for extra flavour and colour contrast.
