This dish contains one portion of Thai coconut vegetable soup (about 530g) and a 50g nest of glass noodles. It's a complete, filling meal. The soup is frozen in a recyclable soup container with lid.

Preparation method

SOUP: Open lid slightly and microwave from frozen in 5 minute intervals, stirring in between, until piping hot. NOODLES: Add glass noodles to hot soup, submerge well, and let sit with lid on for 7 minutes.

Why this dish

Our customers have been asking for it for years: a soup that's easy to take to work. And here it finally is! Based on the classic Thai recipe for tom kha gai—but of course completely plant-based (so absolutely no chicken!)—and just as comforting and flavorful. Monne quickly declared this dish his new favorite Solid Stash meal.

We make our rich broth entirely from scratch, with powerful aromatics like daikon, galangal, ginger, lemongrass, lime leaf... Then we add creamy coconut milk and a colorful mix of fresh vegetables (carrot, bell pepper, mushroom, spring onion, and bamboo shoots). The result? A mild but super-aromatic soup that’s warming, nourishing, and family-friendly.

To make it a full meal, you get a nest of glass noodles on the side. Just dip them into the hot soup, cover, wait 7 minutes—and you’re ready. Did you know both the soup and noodles are gluten-free? Plus, the soup contains no nuts or lactose. We keep it mild on purpose, but if you like a bit of heat, you can always add chili oil.

🌶️ Pimping tips

Top with coriander, a squeeze of lime, chopped spring onions, or chili oil. Add a splash of soy sauce or silken tofu. Prefer rice over noodles? Tom kha is traditionally eaten with jasmine rice!

Is there a minimum order amount?

For home delivery, our minimum order amount is €59.50.

There is no minimum order amount for pickup at our workshop in Kortrijk.

Delivery of frozen products is expensive, so we have a minimum order amount for delivery to help cover these costs. Ordering more at once also helps reduce the environmental impact of delivery — fewer trips mean less emissions per meal.

How does the delivery work?

We deliver our frozen meals throughout Belgium with professional, temperature-controlled refrigerated trucks — this way your food stays perfectly frozen from our kitchen to your doorstep, without the need for insulated packaging.

In most Belgian postal codes, we deliver during the day on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. In Flanders and Brussels, we also offer evening delivery on Monday and Wednesday. Check below for the exact days in your region.

  • Day delivery: between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
  • Evening delivery: between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM (only Flanders and Brussels, on Monday and Wednesday)

On the delivery day, you will receive a message from our courier with a 2-hour time slot. For day deliveries, you get this in the morning; for evening deliveries, in the afternoon.

Your meals are transported in a non-insulated box and must be placed in the freezer immediately — that’s why we never leave a bundle unattended at the door. So please make sure someone is home.

Prefer to pick up yourself? That’s also possible, free of charge, at our workshop in Kortrijk.

Can I give Solid Stash as a gift?

You can add a personal message, and the recipient can use the card whenever it suits them at checkout. Ideal if you’re not sure which dishes they prefer, or if you want to give them complete freedom to choose their own delivery date.

🥘 2. Send frozen meals directly You can also order meals and have them delivered straight to someone’s home. Just enter their name, address, and contact details at checkout — and don’t forget to let them know a frozen order is on its way! If you want to add a personal message, you can do so in the order comments. This will be printed on the packing slip inside the shipping box.

Both options are perfect for new parents, friends who could use some rest, or anyone who deserves some nourishing, plant-based comfort food.
