How does delivery work?

We deliver our frozen meals throughout Belgium with professional freezer vans — so your food stays perfectly frozen from our kitchen to your doorstep, without the need for insulated packaging.At checkout, you choose your preferred delivery date. After entering your zip code, you’ll see the available delivery days for your area. In most Belgian zip codes, we deliver on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with daytime and evening slots available.Daytime deliveries take place between 8:00 and 18:00. Evening deliveries run between 17:00 and 22:00. On the delivery day you’ll receive a message from our courier with a 1-hour time slot, so you know when to expect us. For daytime deliveries you will receive this slot in the morning, for evening deliveries you will receive the slot in the afternoon.Meals are transported in a non-insulated box and must be placed in the freezer immediately. Deliveries are never left unattended, so please make sure someone is available to accept your order.Prefer to pick up your order yourself? You can also collect it at our atelier in Kortrijk.

I want to send Solid Stash as a gift, but I don’t know when the recipient will be home. What should I do?

No problem! Just choose a random delivery date that’s at least a month in the future and leave us a note at checkout asking us to coordinate with the recipient. We’ll get in touch with them to arrange a delivery time that works.

I am ordering for someone else. Which email and phone number should I provide?

We recommend that during checkout you submit your own email but the phone number of the recipient. That way, the order confirmation & shipping email will be sent to you (in order not to give away the surprise!), but our courier will be able to contact the parents on the day of delivery by phone.

Can I add a gift message to my order?

You can add a message in the order comment box at checkout. This message will be printed on the packing slip that goes in the shipping box.If you are ordering a Kraamkost gift pack or a Support gift pack, we will write your personal message on a beautiful postcard that is included in the package.

Which meals are included in a gift pack?

We select meals based on the season and stock availability. Dishes may include Umami Bomb Bolognese, Moroccan Butternut Squash Tajine, Coconut Dhal, Vol-Au-Vegan, Indian Curry and Pumpkin & Pesto Grain Bowl, Neatloaf Burgers or other dishes. If you would like us to include (or exclude!) a specific dish then please feel free to mention this in the order notes and we'll do our best to take this into account!

Will my order fit in my freezer?

Packaging stacks easily. Single‑portion boxes ~12 × 10.5 × 6.5 cm. If you have space for 4 frozen pizzas, you'll fit at least 8 Solid Stash meals.

Kraamkost is where it all began

Back in 2019, I (Lily) started freezing nutritious, plant-based meals as a birth gift for two friends who had just become moms. Their enthusiastic response (“Can I order more?”) made me realise: this is our mission — to support parents and serve up tasty, plant-based meals. And just like that, Solid Stash was born!
