Who´s behind Solid Stash?

Founded by Lily Imschoot, a food-industry entrepreneur, Solid Stash started with her making vegan frozen meals as gifts for new parents. Demand grew so strong that she turned her passion into a full business, aiming to offer delicious, convenient meals for busy individuals and families.

Is there a minimum ordering amount?

For home delivery, our minimum order value is €59.50.There is no minimum order value for pickup at our atelier in Kortrijk.Frozen delivery is costly, so we apply a minimum order amount for delivery to help cover those expenses. Ordering more at once also helps reduce the environmental footprint of delivery — fewer trips mean fewer emissions per meal.

How does delivery work?

We deliver our frozen meals throughout Belgium with professional freezer vans — so your food stays perfectly frozen from our kitchen to your doorstep, without the need for insulated packaging.At checkout, you choose your preferred delivery date. After entering your zip code, you’ll see the available delivery days for your area. In most Belgian zip codes, we deliver on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with daytime and evening slots available.Daytime deliveries take place between 8:00 and 18:00. Evening deliveries run between 17:00 and 22:00. On the delivery day you’ll receive a message from our courier with a 1-hour time slot, so you know when to expect us. For daytime deliveries you will receive this slot in the morning, for evening deliveries you will receive the slot in the afternoon.Meals are transported in a non-insulated box and must be placed in the freezer immediately. Deliveries are never left unattended, so please make sure someone is available to accept your order.Prefer to pick up your order yourself? You can also collect it at our atelier in Kortrijk.

Can I send Solid Stash as a gift?

Yes! Solid Stash makes a great gift—whether you want to surprise someone with delicious frozen meals or let them choose for themselves. You have two options:🎁 1. Send a Digital Gift CardOur gift cards are delivered instantly by email, either to you or directly to the recipient. You can include a personal message, and they can use the card at checkout whenever it suits them. Ideal if you're not sure what dishes they’d prefer or want to give them full flexibility in selecting their own delivery date.🥘 2. Send Frozen Meals DirectlyYou can also order meals and have them delivered straight to someone’s home. Just enter their name, address, and contact info during checkout—and don’t forget to let them know to expect a frozen delivery! If you want to add a personal message, you can include it in the order notes. It will get printed on the packing slip which goes inside the shipping box.Both options are great for new parents, friends in need of a break, or anyone who deserves some wholesome, plant-based comfort food.

Founder´s take

For years, customers have been asking us for a soup to bring to work—and finally, here it is. Inspired by the classic Thai tom kha gai, our version is (of course!) completely plantbased (and thus chicken-free!) - but just as comforting and zingy. This dish has quickly become Monne’s new favourite Solid Stash meal!

We make our own rich broth from scratch, using powerful aromats like daikon, galangal, ginger, lemongrass and lime leaf. Then we add creamy coconut milk and a medley of fresh vegetables (carrot, red pepper, mushroom, spring onion, bamboo shoots). The result? A mild yet wildly aromatic, comforting and nourishing soup the whole family can enjoy.

To make it a full meal, we’ve included a little nest of glass noodles. Just stir them into the piping hot soup, put the lid on and wait 7 minutes—done. Good to know: both the soup and noodles are gluten-free, and the soup is free from nuts and lactose. We’ve kept it mild so it’s family-friendly, but you can always add some chili oil if you like a kick!

🌶️ Pimping tips

Top with coriander, a squeeze of lime, chopped spring onions, or chili oil. Add a splash of soy sauce or toss in some cubes of silken tofu. Prefer rice over noodles? Tom kha is traditionally eaten with jasmine rice! Bonus: if you're extra hungry, we also offer veggie gyoza as an upsell for extra nourishment and comfort!
