Who´s behind Solid Stash?

Founded by Lily Imschoot, a food-industry entrepreneur, Solid Stash started with her making vegan frozen meals as gifts for new parents. Demand grew so strong that she turned her passion into a full business, aiming to offer delicious, convenient meals for busy individuals and families.

Is there a minimum ordering amount?

For home delivery, our minimum order value is €59.50.There is no minimum order value for pickup at our atelier in Kortrijk.Frozen delivery is costly, so we apply a minimum order amount for delivery to help cover those expenses. Ordering more at once also helps reduce the environmental footprint of delivery — fewer trips mean fewer emissions per meal.

How does delivery work?

We deliver our frozen meals throughout Belgium with professional freezer vans — so your food stays perfectly frozen from our kitchen to your doorstep, without the need for insulated packaging.At checkout, you choose your preferred delivery date. After entering your zip code, you’ll see the available delivery days for your area. In most Belgian zip codes, we deliver on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with daytime and evening slots available.Daytime deliveries take place between 8:00 and 18:00. Evening deliveries run between 17:00 and 22:00. On the delivery day you’ll receive a message from our courier with a 1-hour time slot, so you know when to expect us. For daytime deliveries you will receive this slot in the morning, for evening deliveries you will receive the slot in the afternoon.Meals are transported in a non-insulated box and must be placed in the freezer immediately. Deliveries are never left unattended, so please make sure someone is available to accept your order.Prefer to pick up your order yourself? You can also collect it at our atelier in Kortrijk.

Can I send Solid Stash as a gift?

Yes! Solid Stash makes a great gift—whether you want to surprise someone with delicious frozen meals or let them choose for themselves. You have two options:🎁 1. Send a Digital Gift CardOur gift cards are delivered instantly by email, either to you or directly to the recipient. You can include a personal message, and they can use the card at checkout whenever it suits them. Ideal if you're not sure what dishes they’d prefer or want to give them full flexibility in selecting their own delivery date.🥘 2. Send Frozen Meals DirectlyYou can also order meals and have them delivered straight to someone’s home. Just enter their name, address, and contact info during checkout—and don’t forget to let them know to expect a frozen delivery! If you want to add a personal message, you can include it in the order notes. It will get printed on the packing slip which goes inside the shipping box.Both options are great for new parents, friends in need of a break, or anyone who deserves some wholesome, plant-based comfort food.

What´s in the box

This box contains 12 vegetable gyoza dumplings (about 240g in total, 20g each). Frozen, fully plantbased, wrapped in a green spinach pastry. Drop them into your Thai noodle soup for extra comfort—or pan-fry them until golden for that signature gyoza crunch.

Cooking instructions

Cook from frozen. Pan-fry: Heat 1 tbsp oil, fry dumplings 2 min. Add 4 tbsp water, cover and steam 2 min. Uncover, cook 1 more min until water evaporates. Or boil for 3.5 min, or steam at 100°C for 5 min. Deep fry: 170–180°C for 2.5 min.

Founder´s take

Sometimes soup alone just isn’t enough—and that’s when these dumplings shine. We tested them ourselves (and we’re picky!), so they carry our Solid Stash seal of approval. Each gyoza is generously filled with cabbage, carrot, mushroom, spring onion and edamame, wrapped in a light spinach dough that looks as good as it tastes.

There are two ways to enjoy them: drop a few straight into your steaming hot Solid Stash Thai coconut soup and microwave for 2.5 minutes, or go the traditional route and pan-fry them from frozen with a splash of steam until the bottoms are golden and crisp. That contrast of soft and crunchy is what makes people fall in love with gyoza.

Authenticity police might tell you that Japanese dumplings don’t belong in Thai soup. We say: maybe not, but it’s ridiculously tasty.

Snack, side dish or soup booster—these little parcels of joy always hit the spot.

🌶️ Pimping tips

Drizzle with a little toasted sesame oil or soy sauce after steaming, or dip in a spicy chili oil for a kick. Want crunch? Pan-fry them until golden. Garnish with fresh coriander and sesame seeds for the full effect.

Serving your gyoza fried as aperitif or a snack? Go ahead and whip up a quick dip of soy sauce, rice vinegar and a drizzle of sesame oil.
