What´s in the box

Box contains four frozen birthday cupcakes, handmade by Chez Mariette: 2x chocolate cupcake with mocha frosting (Lily’s fave: rich, deep, bittersweet and soothing) and 2x vanilla cupcake with hazelnut frosting (Marieke’s go-to: soft, elegant, and dangerously moreish). Limited batch: only 60 boxes available. When they're gone, they're gone!

Cooking instructions

Let the cupcakes defrost at room temperature for 3 to 4 hours and enjoy immediately.

Want to eat them later? Let them thaw in the fridge for 6 to 8 hours (or overnight). Then bring them to room temperature before serving — that’s when they’re at their best.

Founder´s take

Chez Mariette has long been a staple in the Belgian food scene. With her plant-based bakes and cookbooks, Marieke built a near-cult status — her cakes are just unbelievably good.

For this limited-edition birthday collab, I asked Marieke to create something extra festive: birthday cupcakes that are every bit as decadent as they are comforting. One flavour for each of us — Marieke goes all in on the vanilla-hazelnut combo, while I can’t resist the chocolate-mocha.

We perfectly froze them in all their glory (yep, frosting and all), so you can enjoy them whenever you like. 100% plant-based, handmade, zero added preservatives. This is comfort food of the sweet, celebratory and slightly less nutritious kind... Because sometimes: that's all a girl needs!
