Who´s behind Solid Stash?

Founded by Lily Imschoot, a food-industry entrepreneur, Solid Stash started with her making vegan frozen meals as gifts for new parents. Demand grew so strong that she turned her passion into a full business, aiming to offer delicious, convenient meals for busy individuals and families.

Is there a minimum ordering amount?

For home delivery, our minimum order value is €59.50.There is no minimum order value for pickup at our atelier in Kortrijk.Frozen delivery is costly, so we apply a minimum order amount for delivery to help cover those expenses. Ordering more at once also helps reduce the environmental footprint of delivery — fewer trips mean fewer emissions per meal.

How does delivery work?

We deliver our frozen meals throughout Belgium with professional freezer vans — so your food stays perfectly frozen from our kitchen to your doorstep, without the need for insulated packaging.At checkout, you choose your preferred delivery date. After entering your zip code, you’ll see the available delivery days for your area. In most Belgian zip codes, we deliver on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with daytime and evening slots available.Daytime deliveries take place between 8:00 and 18:00. Evening deliveries run between 17:00 and 22:00. On the delivery day you’ll receive a message from our courier with a 1-hour time slot, so you know when to expect us. For daytime deliveries you will receive this slot in the morning, for evening deliveries you will receive the slot in the afternoon.Meals are transported in a non-insulated box and must be placed in the freezer immediately. Deliveries are never left unattended, so please make sure someone is available to accept your order.Prefer to pick up your order yourself? You can also collect it at our atelier in Kortrijk.

Can I send Solid Stash as a gift?

Yes! Solid Stash makes a great gift—whether you want to surprise someone with delicious frozen meals or let them choose for themselves. You have two options:🎁 1. Send a Digital Gift CardOur gift cards are delivered instantly by email, either to you or directly to the recipient. You can include a personal message, and they can use the card at checkout whenever it suits them. Ideal if you're not sure what dishes they’d prefer or want to give them full flexibility in selecting their own delivery date.🥘 2. Send Frozen Meals DirectlyYou can also order meals and have them delivered straight to someone’s home. Just enter their name, address, and contact info during checkout—and don’t forget to let them know to expect a frozen delivery! If you want to add a personal message, you can include it in the order notes. It will get printed on the packing slip which goes inside the shipping box.Both options are great for new parents, friends in need of a break, or anyone who deserves some wholesome, plant-based comfort food.

Cooking instructions

Simply take your packet of Solid Stash from the freezer, remove from packaging and place frozen into a casserole or microwave dish. Add 1-2 tbsp water & warm on stove (medium heat) / in microwave, often stirring carefully, until piping hot throughout (10-15 min).

Founder´s take

All you need for a colourful Mexican flavour fest! This chili sin carne is packed with home-cooked black and borlotti beans, roasted sweet potato, and a blend of cumin, cinnamon, smoky chili, plus a hint of quinoa, cocoa and coffee. Deep, savoury, and comforting.

At the same time, it’s bright and zingy with fresh lime juice, bell peppers, tomatoes and coriander adding sparkle. Just a touch of background heat makes it mild enough for the whole family—without losing character.

Serve with rice, tortilla wraps, tacos, nachos, sweet potato (fries), quinoa or your favourite grain.

A. Colourful side dishes to lift your chilli-and-carb to the next level:

Sriracha chilli sauce / extra spiciness: we’ve purposely kept spiciness-levels a bit lower for this recipe to make sure we don’t set anyone’s mouth on fire. But for those who like it hot: go ahead and add your own!

Tomato salsa (pico de gallo)
Bell pepper, sweet corn & avocado salsa with lime juice & olive oil
Green apple or pineapple salsa: finely dice the fruit, add finely diced red onion, olive oil, a bit of lime juice / cider vinegar / red wine vinegar & salt

For a gorgeous shock of pink, try topping with finely sliced / julienned radishes or quick pickled red onions

On toast with a poached / fried / scrambled egg on top
Chilli soup: thin out your chilli with vegetable stock, add a bit extra seasoning (to taste) & serve as a meal-soup. Top with nachos / baked tortilla strips (tear tortillas into strips, drizzle with oil & salt, bake in oven at 180 degrees for 5-10 min, until crisp)
Healthy-ish Mexican vegetable "pizzas":
Sweet potato-version: scrub big sweet potato; cut length-wise into 1cm disks; rub with oil & season with salt & pepper; put on baking paper in pre-heated oven at 200 degrees & bake for 15 min; top with chilli, cheese & any other toppings and bake for another 10 min.
Portobello mushroom-version: carefully remove mushroom stem; rub with oil & season with salt & pepper; put on baking paper in pre-heated oven at 190 degrees & bake for 10 min; top with chilli, cheese & any other toppings and bake for another 5-10 min.
