Who´s behind Solid Stash?

Founded by Lily Imschoot, a food-industry entrepreneur, Solid Stash started with her making vegan frozen meals as gifts for new parents. Demand grew so strong that she turned her passion into a full business, aiming to offer delicious, convenient meals for busy individuals and families.

Is there a minimum ordering amount?

For home delivery, our minimum order value is €59.50.There is no minimum order value for pickup at our atelier in Kortrijk.Frozen delivery is costly, so we apply a minimum order amount for delivery to help cover those expenses. Ordering more at once also helps reduce the environmental footprint of delivery — fewer trips mean fewer emissions per meal.

How does delivery work?

We deliver our frozen meals throughout Belgium with professional freezer vans — so your food stays perfectly frozen from our kitchen to your doorstep, without the need for insulated packaging.At checkout, you choose your preferred delivery date. After entering your zip code, you’ll see the available delivery days for your area. In most Belgian zip codes, we deliver on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with daytime and evening slots available.Daytime deliveries take place between 8:00 and 18:00. Evening deliveries run between 17:00 and 22:00. On the delivery day you’ll receive a message from our courier with a 1-hour time slot, so you know when to expect us. For daytime deliveries you will receive this slot in the morning, for evening deliveries you will receive the slot in the afternoon.Meals are transported in a non-insulated box and must be placed in the freezer immediately. Deliveries are never left unattended, so please make sure someone is available to accept your order.Prefer to pick up your order yourself? You can also collect it at our atelier in Kortrijk.

Can I send Solid Stash as a gift?

Yes! Solid Stash makes a great gift—whether you want to surprise someone with delicious frozen meals or let them choose for themselves. You have two options:🎁 1. Send a Digital Gift CardOur gift cards are delivered instantly by email, either to you or directly to the recipient. You can include a personal message, and they can use the card at checkout whenever it suits them. Ideal if you're not sure what dishes they’d prefer or want to give them full flexibility in selecting their own delivery date.🥘 2. Send Frozen Meals DirectlyYou can also order meals and have them delivered straight to someone’s home. Just enter their name, address, and contact info during checkout—and don’t forget to let them know to expect a frozen delivery! If you want to add a personal message, you can include it in the order notes. It will get printed on the packing slip which goes inside the shipping box.Both options are great for new parents, friends in need of a break, or anyone who deserves some wholesome, plant-based comfort food.

What´s in the box

Box contains one frozen portion of pumpkin caponata (about 330g), a colourful starter for two. Serve warm or at room temperature, ideally with salad leaves, toasted pine nuts and a drizzle of good olive oil (not included).

Cooking instructions

Remove packaging & place frozen caponata in an oven- or microwave-safe dish.

Microwave: 7–12 min (medium setting, stir occasionally), or 1–2 min if thawed.

Oven: 20 min covered at 160–170°C, or 10–12 min if thawed.

Serve warm or at room temperature, topped with rocket, pine nuts and a drizzle of olive oil.

Founder´s take

Some dishes are just a vibe — and this one is it. Our agrodolce-style caponata is built around sweet roasted butternut squash, paired with juicy tomato and red onion, tangy capers, briny black olives and a scattering of golden raisins for balance. Finished with a splash of balsamic and a pinch of fresh parsley, it’s a flavour firework that hits every note: sweet, salty, sour, savoury.

It’s based on a traditional Sicilian side dish, but we’ve made it extra festive — the kind of surprising but crowd-pleasing starter that makes everyone say “oh wow, what is this?”.

Naturally gluten-free, nut-free, soy-free and lactose-free, it’s perfect for almost everyone at the table. Just heat and serve with a simple rocket salad and maybe some toasted bread or pine nuts. A proper little showstopper — with minimal effort.

🌶️ Pimping tips

Top with rucola and toasted pine nuts, drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Serve with crusty bread or mini toasts. Also great with pasta, couscous or as part of a mezze spread.
